Society is in the midst of a radical, digital transformation that is changing everything.

Yet we still do church the same way we have for generations. It’s like your church is an island of analog in a digital society. And that’s a problem. As a church, we often hear we've lost the young adult generation. But we haven’t "lost" them. We never had them. Our analog expression of church is totally foreign to these digital natives.

But there is hope. Your church can adapt to this new environment. And as you embrace this digital transformation, it offers a wider opportunity for reaching younger generations and fueling church growth. Embracing this digital transformation blows your ministry out beyond the walls of the church. You can become significant influencers in your community encouraging people from all walks of life to take the next step closer to Jesus.

The Digital Transformation of Ministry is already here.

God created humans with the innate need to belong to community, and church exists to fulfill this fundamental need to belong. We are social creatures, and although church of course has a theological component, and a vertical relationship with God, church is fundamentally a social experience, with horizontal relationships between humans.

The digital transformation allows us to accelerate this relationship-building through digital media. It allows us to break through the social anxiety to connect with people right where they’re at. It allows us to get out of the church building and begin developing relationships with people in the community. When the time is right, we can then invite these people to an in-person experience where that relationship can be deepened.
